How Our Color Pricing Works

At The Collective Salon, we believe in transparent pricing tailored to each client’s needs.

  • Service Price + Parts: Your total cost includes a base service price plus any parts used (e.g., hair color). The amount of product required determines the final price, ensuring fair and accurate billing.

Why We Use This Pricing Model:

  • Fairness for All Guests: Hair types and styles differ, so clients with shorter or less dense hair pay less than those with longer or thicker hair.

  • Adaptability to Market Changes: We adjust parts costs as necessary, maintaining accurate pricing without blanket increases.

Payment Policy

  • Preferred Payment Method: Receive a 3% discount for cash payments.

  • Accepted Forms of Payment: We accept credit cards, cash, and checks. Gratuity is not accepted on credit cards, but stylists accept Venmo.

Cancellation Policy

A booking fee is required to secure appointments:

  • $20.00 for haircuts and blowouts

  • $50.00 for all color services

The fee applies to your final bill. 24-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid forfeiture of the booking fee. No-shows will be required to pay the full service price before rebooking.

Service Guarantee

We stand by the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with your service, contact us within 7 days, and we will address your concerns to ensure your satisfaction.

Late Arrival Policy

If you arrive 15 minutes late, we may:

  • Adjust your service to fit the remaining time, or

  • Reschedule your appointment, forfeiting your booking fee.

Staff Treatment Policy

At The Collective Salon, we are committed to maintaining a positive, respectful culture for both clients and staff. We expect all interactions to be courteous and professional. Abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior toward our team members will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who fails to adhere to these standards.

Product Return Policy

Products can be returned gently used within 90 days for a full refund. Refunds will be issued as credit, check, or store credit.

Guests Under 18

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during appointments. If a minor arrives alone, we will proceed with the service as scheduled. Parents are encouraged to discuss preferences with their child beforehand to avoid miscommunication.

Gift Card Policy

  • Gift cards can be redeemed for services and products only.

  • Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used for gratuity.

  • Promotions may have restrictions on gift card use.

Packages and Memberships

Packages and blowout memberships cannot be shared or transferred between guests.

Photo Release and Liability Waiver

By receiving services at The Collective Salon, you consent to the use of your photos, videos, or other likenesses for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes.

  • Consent: You grant The Collective Salon the right to use, edit, publish, or distribute images and videos taken during or after your service without any further notice or compensation.

  • Financial Liability Waiver: You release The Collective Salon from any financial responsibility or liability regarding the use of these images, including but not limited to promotional use in advertisements, print, or online media.

If you prefer not to have your photos used, please notify your stylist prior to your service.

Website Terms of Service and User Conduct

By using our website or booking services, you agree to comply with our terms and policies.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.

User Behavior Guidelines

You agree not to:

  • Upload or post illegal or harmful content.

  • Transmit unsolicited promotions (spam).

  • Upload software containing viruses or malicious code.
